The process of handling a work visa and residence permit in China
Step 1: register company information
Documents: Business license, Approval certificate for foreign investment, ID of handling personnel
Time: 1 working day
Step 2: personal application
1)application in China: residence permit
Documents: CV ( include education background and work experience )
More than 2 year's work experience certificate, the certificate of no criminal record certified by embassy （both languages）
Highest academic degree certified by embassy( don’t need to certify for Chinese degree) both languages
Health examination report, Labor contract
2)application outside of China:
Documents: CV ( include education background and work experience )
More than 2 year’s work experience certificate, the certificate of no criminal record certified by embassy
Highest academic degree certified by embassy( don’t need to certify for Chinese degree)
Health examination report ( do it in China), Labor contract, Passport
Time: 10 working days
Step3: application in China:
Documents: All written documents in step 2
Time: 10 working days
application outside of China:
Documents: submit all written documents of step 2, get Z visa in embassy and enter into China, submit all written documents of step 2 again, have health examination if haven’t finished it
Time: 10 working days
Step 4: get work permit
Step 5: apply for work and residence permit
Documents: Labour contract, Business license, Passport, Registration form of temporary residence, identification photo, certificate of health examination, Approval certificate of foreign investment
Applicant need to be present
Time: more than 7 working days
Step 6: take away passport, finish the process.
