Family reunification category
1) The spouse of a Chinese citizen or a foreigner who has obtained China permanent residency, who has been married for at least five years.

a) Has resided continuously in China for at least five years, at least nine months each year.

c) Have a stable income and residence. For minor applicant, the parents should have stable income and residence.
d) For minor applicant, one of the Chinese parents should cancelled their permanent residence in a foreign country.
Investment category
a) The investment period is continuous and the minimum investment amount is US$500,000.
b) The investment is in an industry not prohibited.
c) Company's operation is normal and has stable tax contribution.
d) Should not have bad records, overstaying, being deported, not registering your accommodation on time, the household registration not being cancelled in accordance with the regulations, or working illegally in China, etc.
e) Have a stable income and residence
Employment category.
a) The position, salary and tax payment meet the requirements. The minimun salary is 6 times of the city average wage and paid IIT at least Rmb120K a year in last 4 years.
b) Has resided continuously in China for at least five years, at least nine months each year.
c) Should not have bad records, such as overstaying, being deported, not registering your accommodation on time, the household registration not being cancelled in accordance with the regulations, or working illegally in China, etc.
e) Have a stable income and residence
Chinese foreigners with a PhD.
a) Foreign Chinese with a doctorate degree and working in China may apply to the Exit-Entry Administration of the public security authorities for permanent residence in China,and their foreign spouses and minor children may apply with them. This policy is implemented nationwide and there are no geographical restrictions.
